THERE IS A LONELINESS

Street photography · 2024

“There is a loneliness” is a photographic essay that delves into the emotional disconnection prevalent in contemporary society. Through a 20-day street photography journey across the United States, I explore this theme.

This visual project aims to shed light on the hidden loneliness behind the facade of digital life. It questions the true cost of our hyperconnectivity and the relentless pursuit of fame and instant validation. By transitioning from analog photography to digital, I seek to uncover the seams of this digital society.

This project was shot on film with a Leica M6, Kodak Portra 400 and 800, CineStill 800, and TMax 400.
